Eurona is the Spanish telecommunications multinational that provides broadband access services and carries high-speed Internet where others do not. Among its latest milestones, Eurona has reached an agreement with Spanish satellite operator Hispasat to contribute to reduce the digital gap in Spain through the use of satellite broadband connectivity. The goal is to offer people living in these areas a technological solution comparable in quality and price to other terrestrial technologies. This concers to 5 million people and 2,500 villages, many with a deficient or null connection to Internet.
