BME Growth today welcomed COX ENERGY. The traditional ringing of the bell at the Madrid Stock Exchange was led by Enrique José Riquelme Vives, president of the company, who was accompanied by Jesús González, Managing Director of BME Growth.

The company, which is the fifth to debut on this market so far this year, took as its reference price a price of 1.73 euros per share, which implies a total valuation of the company of 285 million euros.

COX ENERGY debuted on the Mexican Stock Exchange in 2020 and now with its incorporation into BME Growth it seeks greater visibility and access to European markets. It will be the first company to be listed on both BME Growth and the Mexican market.

"BME Growth is the best boost for the growth of companies, as shown by the fact that the listed companies in this BME market increased their turnover by 34%, their EBITDA by 30% and their workforce by 24% last year. Listing is just the first step in accessing a new source of financing to undertake a company's growth plans," said Jesús González.

The company has started trading under the ticker "COX".
