Company Profile

MERIDIA REAL ESTATE III, SOCIMI, S.A. (“Meridia III”), Listed Real Estate Investment Companies (SOCIMI), was incorporated at the beginning of 2016 by the regulated alternative investment fund manager Meridia Capital Partners, SGEIC, S.A. (“Meridia Capital”). 

This is the third real estate vehicle of Meridia Capital, Meridia III, which was launched with the aim of taking advantage of attractive opportunities of the real estate sector in Spain after the outbreak of the economic and financial crisis in 2008, benefiting from a growing economy, attracting pricing in secondary locations and the improvement of real estate fundamentals.

With an investment capacity of approximately 400 million euros, Meridia III has an equity commitment of €215m (including co-investment), invests in of all types of real estate assets, especially in offices and logistics, mainly in Madrid and Barcelona.  Its aim is to carry out value add projects in its two main markets. In order to do so, Meridia III counts with the support of well-known international investors, most of them institutional.

Meridia III has engaged the fund manager Meridia Capital, led by Javier Faus (Founding Partner & CEO) together with Juan Barba (Partner-Managing Director Real Estate), for the identification of the potential investments, as well as their acquisition, their management strategy and their divestment.
